Directors Award
The SFTE Directors Award was established in 1985 to recognize individuals who have contributed significant and lasting efforts towards the welfare, stature, leadership or membership of the society.
Recipients are nominated by and selected by the SFTE Board of Directors.
2025 Winner
Sebastian Rommel
The 2025 Directors award was presented to Sebastian Rommel in recognition of his outstanding efforts in supporting the European Chapter. Over the last several years Sebastian has worked tirelessly to establish a legal basis for SFTE in Europe, culminating with the establishment of a legal status of an entity based in Germany. His tireless efforts are deservedly recognized with this year's Director's Award.
