FLIGHT TESTING: LESSONS FROM THE PAST, OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE FUTURE!

INTERNATIONAL FLIGHT TEST SEMINAR
INDIAN AIR FORCE TEST PILOTS SCHOOL at
AIRCRAFT & SYSTEMS TESTING ESTABLISHMENT,

BENGALURU, INDIA
04-05 NOV 2022

PARTICIPATION IN HYBRID FORMAT (IN-PERSON & ONLINE)

Aircraft and Systems Testing Establishment (ASTE), a unique and premier unit of the Indian Air Force (IAF), is celebrating its Golden Jubilee milestone after completing 50 years of glorious service to the nation. The unit originally came into being as a small Armament Testing Unit (ATU) in 1948 and was subsequently raised in its present avatar on 22 Aug 1972. It also boasts of housing the Indian Air Force Test Pilots School (IAFTPS), which remains one of the few recognised Flight Test Training Schools in the world.

We, in our 50th year with a rich experience of operating a large fleet with diverse design philosophies, are organising an International Flight Test Seminar at Bengaluru, (Karnataka State) India, to celebrate our Golden Jubilee. It would definitely serve as an unprecedented opportunity to exchange ideas and best practices. The central theme of the IFTS would be “Flight Testing: Lessons from the past; Opportunities for the future!”.
