Seattle Chapter Hosts ITPS During US Tour

On Monday, SFTE Silver Member International Test Pilots School (ITPS) made their first stop on their Albatross tour of the United States... in Seattle, WA! They were greeted by local chapter SFTE members at a Monday evening Happy Hour, and provided tours of their amazing Grumman Albatross airplane, which was parked at the Museum of Flight at Boeing Field. On Tuesday morning, several SFTE members were treated to a sightseeing flight in the Albatross, landing on the water in Lake Washington and flying around the local area. In the afternoon on Tuesday, the ITPS representatives were given a tour of the Boeing Flight Test Center at Boeing Field, including the engineering simulators, the telemetry room, and a tour of a flight test 787.

The Seattle Chapter thanks ITPS for a great visit and a fun couple of days! Head over to the ITPS blog to read more about their trip, which started in Oshkosh, WI and will visit several locations around the US.
