SFTE Fellow Nominations for 2026 Now Open

The Society of Flight Test Engineers (SFTE) is proud to announce the opening of nominations for the 2026 Class of Fellows, the highest and most prestigious grade of membership within our Society.

Election to this grade is a recognition of a lifetime of achievement and contribution to the field of flight testing as well as to SFTE. Fellows are formally recognized with presentations at the Annual Symposium Dinner and are granted lifetime membership in the Society.

Unlike many professional organizations, members cannot apply for this distinction. It is an honor bestowed exclusively by peers. Election to Fellow requires a nomination by a current SFTE member, followed by a vote among the existing Fellows. For the 2026 election cycle, a maximum of four individuals may be recognized.

To be considered, a nominee must have held Senior Member status for a minimum of two years.

The window for nominations is now open through to May 31st.

We encourage all members and chapters to nominate those they feel the most worthy of this singular honor, to join the Fellows listed below.
