The Value of SFTE Membership - thoughts from a SFTE Member

Last year, I was honored to receive the International Test Pilots School (ITPS) Short Course Scholarship, one of several Test Pilot School (TPS) scholarships offered through the Society of Flight Test Engineers (SFTE).

What I really want to emphasize though, is the value of being part of the Society of Flight Test Engineers. The TPS scholarships are just one example of the opportunities SFTE provides. From annual symposiums and technical resources to networking, mentorship, and job opportunities, SFTE has been instrumental in supporting the flight test community and the professional development of its members.

Whether you're an experienced flight test professional or someone aspiring to become a Flight Test Engineer, I encourage you to join—and more importantly, get involved! The relationships you build, the knowledge you gain, and the opportunities that come from active participation are invaluable.
