SFTE President Visits Visits Airbus Flight Test Team

Following a meeting with Leonardo flight testers in Italy, SFTE President Jeff Canclini traveled to Airbus headquarters in Toulouse, France, to meet with members of the Airbus flight-test team.
The visit included meetings and a luncheon with Patrick du Ché, Airbus Vice President, and members of his test and evaluation staff. Discussions focused on SFTE’s expanding programs and services—including the Recommended Practices program—and opportunities to strengthen the partnership between SFTE and Airbus.
During the visit, Canclini presented du Ché with a gift of SFTE jam prepared by SFTE Director Kevin Welch. Canclini also toured Airbus test aircraft and visited the Aeroscopia aviation museum, where he viewed the flight-test engineer stations used during the A380 test program.
