Seattle Chapter closes out Summer

On 27 August, the Seattle Chapter gathered at the cove around 5pm and a very fine time indeed was had.  About 25-30 former, current and prospective members enjoyed beautiful weather at the Cove in Nomanday Park.  Taking in beautiful Puget Sound views while dining on the finest QFC meat and not-so-much meat burgers, brats and dogs (provided by YOUR SFTE).  The generous guests brought more than good and plenty of sides and tasty desserts including a certain first for the SFTE: fire-baked, gluten-free organic pie/tarts!  It's a good thing they did because YOUR SFTE birdbrain president forgot the graham crackers for s'mores!  Doah! Well there's always next year, right?  The evening ended around ten pm with a happy, laughing bunch of lingerers around a nice beach fire.  Thanks to all that attended and brought great food, fellowship and stories! Speaking of next year we all agreed to do this again then, and maybe sooner for us hearty PNW folks.  My pictures stink but here is one anyway. John Hed SM
