Antelope Valley Chapter - Brian Binnie Presents Career Highlights

On Thursday May 19, 2022, SETP Associate Fellow Brian Binnie presented "A Tale of Four Spaceships," which included stories from his career working on four unique spaceships as a test pilot: Rotary Rocket, SpaceShipOne, SpaceShipTwo, and XCOR. Brian piloted SpaceShipOne on its second flight to win the Ansari X Prize and in the process earned his Commercial Astronaut Wings. 67 people from SFTE, AIAA, SETP, and SAMPE gathered at Medrano’s Mexican Restaurant in Lancaster, CA to hear Brian’s incredible stories and see his videos of the challenging test flights.
